January wasn’t a breakout month.
But it was an important one.
We shipped a lot. We learned a lot.
And we corrected course early.
Here’s how the month went 👇
One big win I didn’t expect
I was featured on Starter Story. 🥳
That was honestly one of the biggest highlights of my career. I’ve followed Starter Story for a long time, so being featured felt unreal!
They made a video of my journey as an entrepreneur:

Revenue in January
January revenue came out to $12,202:
Content sponsorships: $10,875
X (Twitter) ads: $730
Coding course: $498
1-on-1 consulting: $99
Important clarification: Most of the sponsorship revenue was from something I signed up for last year and only hit the account now.
So while I’m grateful for it, it wasn’t the focus in January.
What January really showed me is this:
Product revenue is still the weak spot.
Income was nice. But I need to diversify more - hence why we’re working on launching new apps.
We launched 2 new SaaS apps
Together with my co-founder Andrew, we launched:
We also launched a free tool that analyses your social profiles and estimates how much money you could be making.
That free tool brought in 350+ users and was meant to drive traffic to SocialRevenue. While it worked and it got a lot of attention, it didn’t convert into revenue.
Here’s why (and this one is on us).
Our audience is mainly builders.
Our SaaS products targeted experienced creators.
Most builders are still beginner creators.
They don’t yet have these problems.
We solved problems we personally had - which is a good thing - but our audience isn’t at that level yet.
Shipping wasn’t the issue. In fact, I’m so proud of how many things we’ve shipped.
But it was an audience mismatch.
The shift: validation before building (SaaS #3)
For our third SaaS, we’re flipping the process:
We are starting with a strong landing page, clearly explaining the value first, and adding a buy button to see if the problem we are trying to solve is big enough.
Real validation = someone entering their card.
We already have a small working version of the app.
But we won’t fully build it unless the landing page converts.
Everything else is noise.
Health update: not a side quest anymore
I also started my weight loss journey in January.
Started at almost 92kg. Now down to 88kg, currently around 29% body fat.
My goal for this year is to get under 15% body fat and get in the best shape of my life.
This isn’t just about looks. It’s about energy. Focus. Consistency.
I don’t treat health and business as separate projects anymore.
February focus
February is simple: keep building and shipping, and stay consistent with my health mission. Momentum over perfection. Day in, day out.
I know that if I do this long enough, it will pay off someday!
If you’re building something right now, hit reply and tell me what it is.
I read every response.
Talk to you soon.
